A Moment of Divine Intervention That Reshaped My Perspective

Mindset · March 18, 2025

When things seem like they are not working out the way you planned, it may just be a point of reflection. A sign that you should stop, assess the situation, and perhaps take a different approach.

I realized this yesterday when I was attempting to set up a new project and one of the resources I was planning to use became unavailable to me. At that moment, I could have gotten highly upset and complained about how things were so unfair.

Admittedly, I did express some momentary objection that this door was being closed to me, when I believed there was no seemingly valid reason it should be, but I was pretty playful about it.

That same day I happened to mention it to a friend, and my friend provided a different way for me to see the situation. Their perspective was that it was basically a sign from the DIVINE that I needed to slow down, and do first things first because I was prematurely calling on this resource before I really needed it. I thought about what my friend said, and I felt perhaps there was some truth to it.

I slept on that thought and when I woke up at dawn, I realized my truth. Which was that yes, the DIVINE was actually closing off that resource to me, because I didn’t need it at all to achieve my desire.

When I assessed my project again, I realized there was a better way, an easier way to achieve my results, which is considerably less stressful and, to my pleasant surprise, requires less work to receive an even better outcome.

I would not have seen this had that resource not closed itself off to me. Or had not my friend prompted me to this possibility. Now that I know this, I am actually happier. And now I see that resource making itself inaccessible to me as a good thing.

So perhaps many times we get upset when things don’t seem to go our way, but maybe it’s DIVINE intervention telling us to take another approach.

It’s important not to be rigid or fixed in one direction. We must be open to change. Our way, our plan is just one way of arriving at an outcome, and the DIVINE knows the best way, and the best approach, to get there.

So follow the flow and the subtle nudges. Instead of seeing a thing as your enemy, and letting a challenge be a trigger to feel defeat, see how in an unorthodox way it is actually helping you, and being used by the DIVINE as an instrument to point you in the direction of a better way to what you truly need for your highest good.

Wishing you all the best!

This song is dedicated to every woman who has ever been abused verbally, emotionally, physically or otherwise. You are a child of the Most-Highest and for that you deserve respect. I pray this song gives you some courage to speak out and say "No More," "I've Had Enough" and "Stop taking your anger out on me" to the person or entity who is doing you harm. Much Love to you. From one healing soul to another.
